I understand what it feels like to be a hurting wife and decided to create this page to help support wives. Out of my wounds I was attracted to men who were wounded as well. To anesthetize these wounds men and women often use sex & false intimacy among other things (alcohol, drugs, shopping, gambling, internet surfing etc.). Using sex and false intimacy as a means of coping with pain and escaping can lead to using pornography, prostitution, masturbation, false intimacy, affairs, lust, etc. which is falsely used to numb the pain of life. The pain doesn't go away, it just get's "forgotten" about for short time periods. Unfortunately using these types of destructive "pain medication" damages marriages as well as a person's soul and disconnects their spirit and is very painful to the spouse who discovers the secrets.
I understand first hand because I was one of those wives that found my husband(s) looking at pornography, chatting on line with other women, lusting after women and practicing habitual masturbation among other things that destroyed the trust and intimacy of our relationship. I understand what it feels like to be cheated on and heart broken. I have walked down very dark lonely paths and have endured many tears and gut wrenching nights, I understand and want you to know that there is hope and that you are not alone.
Through the grace that God supplies, I am healing from past and recent trauma and so is my marriage. Enduring the pain and carrying the burden alone only leads to a dead end, handing it over to God and getting the support you need is the answer. He provides you the Hope and gives you the strength to carry on. I speak from the voice of experience, I pray that it gives you comfort, encouragement and hope.....
This page is dedicated to supplying information that can help hurting wives. I share what has been helpful to me. I pray you are helped, please email me personally so I can help support you and supply you with additional information.

What is the process of dealing with hurt that a woman must go through to ultimately heal? This broadcast will give superb insight into the "hurting cycle" that a woman goes through when pain is thrust upon her life. Very helpful for men in understanding women, and insightful for women seeking to understand more clearly what this cycle looks like.
