God sent an angel to me one day and her name is Joyce Meyer.  She has a world wide ministry that helps people in so many ways, but the way she helped me the most was by teaching me what it means to enjoy my life every day!  But before I could enjoy everyday life, I had to learn who I was and find my self worth.  I had forgotten it, I was worn out and ready to give up.  I had caved in and was going nowhere but in circles.  I was in bondage and a mental prison that kept me locked up!  Slowly but surely I heard words of Truth that spoke to me. I taped all of her shows and listened to them everyday.  I wrote down every single word she said and read the words out loud and God deposited Hope into my heart. The Scriptures she used, I looked up and read them in my own Bible and they were the messages God wanted to use to give me a new vision for my life.  I knew in the depths of my soul God sent Joyce to me.  She had survived sexual abuse just like I had and so much more!  We had so much in common, we are so much a like, I swear she is like my twin sister with 20 odd years between us : ) We both have Big Mouths and we both struggle (d) with the same issues! She was and is an encouragement and exhorter to me and my life.  God sent her so I could reach my full potential.  He knew the plans he had for me and he knew who to use to get my attention. 

I praise God for Joyce Meyer and what she teaches.  The hand of God came through my television and picked me up and caressed my soul.  He brought me comfort, encouragement, love and hope that I too, could overcome the evil that was meant for my harm, just like He had done for Joyce Meyer.

A true inspiration, motivator and a Godly Mentor is what she is to me.  The Hand of Hope is one of her Ministries and although most of the Hope is giving to others on the other side of the world, her hand of Hope reached out to me, and softly soothed my wounds. It provided the healing salve that God uses to cleanse us, purify us and heal us so we too can go forth and provide the same care for others.

May God richly bless you Joyce Meyer, thank you for your obedience and your faithful service for God.  You are an angel in my eyes and I praise God who sent you. You are helping me reach my full potential so I can help others do the same. I look forward to seeing you at a conference when you come to San Antonio.
