I believe in the power of prayer and ask that you pray for us!

[ A Call to Love and Obedience ] “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 10:12
The Good Lord has convicted my heart to go back to work and for Steve and I to separate spatially while we get premarital counseling. God's word says to not live in a way that can be looked upon as evil. It is not right for us to be living together prior to marriage even if we refrain from "sleeping together" so we are going to make the situation right! We considered going ahead and getting married but that is not what God wanted! We are asking for your prayers as we do his will and show our obedience to him.
Lord please provide me a job. Please surround me with Godly people and allow me to serve you while I work, allow me to use the talents you have given me to honor and please you.
Please provide Steve a room in a near by Christian home, while we are being obedient to you. We pray for a new job for Steve that will please and serve you. I also pray for his peace of mind while we endure this time. May he find Strength and comfort in you and may this lead him to having a closer walk with you.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
We pray these prayers in Jesus name.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us Romans 8:18

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' Mark 12: 30-31

"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33
The "all these things" Jesus speaks of in the context of Matthew six includes food, clothing and shelter. God will provide all our needs (not wants) when we are obedient to him.

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:11-14

Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart,so that I may honor you. Psalm 86:11

I forgot this page was here....it is April 7, 2009
God answered my prayer for a job within 10 minutes....my doorbell rang and I knew the person on the other side was sent by God! I told her what I had prayed for and she said they needed some help in their counseling office. Within two days I was working : )
Steve did not move out, but I did...God provided a home for my daughter and I to both live in and Steve and I planned our wedding and within four months we were married. I prayed for purity and asked for God to bless our marriage and to give us a new start...he did that. We were married July 12, 2008.
Steve was blessed with a wonderful job and he is on top of the leader board in sales. We have benefits and he has a nice base salary : )
Eight months later, I began Graduate school!
Our God is an Awesome God!!!
I am living proof God answers prayers and blesses obedience....it was not easy but it was worth it all!
