It is written if you ask for something and believe that you have received it, it will be given unto you.  I am writing today the things I believe God is giving to me and I look forward to receiving them to help honor and glorify his goodness.  I am reaching my Full Potential with God's help.  That is the only way I will ever reach it.

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.  But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against,
so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Mark 11:24-25



I believe in my heart that one day on God's timetable I will be doing the following:

I am on stage speaking and sharing my story to help inspire, motivate, encourage and give people hope. By doing so they will be lead into God's loving arms.

I write books and articles that help enlighten, encourage and give hope. I have videos available that share my story and they inspire and teach how to reach Your Full Potential with God.

I am on radio and television sharing my story and The Truth.

I have a professional website and ministry with others who desire to work for God's glory.  "What WE can do TOGETHER far exceeds what WE can do alone!" Debra Lake

I Mentor and teach with the Evangelical Zeal that God gave me.  I am real and God loves me because I am.

My boldness and straight forward style of speaking and writing impacts many and helps transform their lives for God's glory.

Because I am unafraid to be who God created me to be, I inspire others to be authentic as well.

Because I believe that God can use everything good and bad for his glory I am willing and open to share the good and bad of my own life which ultimately lead me into his loving arms. I am unashamed of where I have been and what I have been through because he brought me out to the other side.

Because I am willing to drop the mask, I help others feel safe enough to do the same.

I am used for God's glory and honor and He will use me and my story  to touch the heart sof thousands who need to hear.


My Heart Desires

I long for Mentors and Friends who help inspire and encourage each other to be the best we can be. I am forming a Master Mind Group and want like minded individuals to contact me. This group can be a telephone group as well as in person group.

Lord, I expect financial blessings to help grow my ministry. You placed the dreams in my heart and I trust you will make them a reality.  I look forward to you doing as your word promises and provides.  It is all for you!  I have planted the seeds and trust they will grow.  You know my heart and you know what you want me to accomplish. Please continue to show me the way and make the bright path straight.

I envision speaking in front of crowds. I trust I will be heard!  I encourage someone daily! ("encourage one another daily" Hebrews 3:13  I spread Hope! I inspire! I show Love! I bring people to the family reuntion!

I long for a web designer to work with who will join my Master Mind Group.

I long to shoot a video and  I am writing a book and forsee the people who can help publish it to be brought into my circle of influence.

I am filled with the Joy and Peace of the Lord every minute of everyday and I encourage others to seek the same.

I live every minute of every day and feel as though I accomplished something worthy, something incredible and have something wonderful to show for it.  In other words, I make God proud and every minute count :)

I live my life on Purpose and with a Passion and encourage others to do the same.

 [ A Call to Love and Obedience ] “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 10:12

The Good Lord has convicted my heart to go back to work and for Steve and I to separate spacially while we get pre-marital counseling.  Even though we have turned away from "sinning" in an intimate way since both of us rededicated our lives; God's word says to not live in a way that can be looked upon as evil.  It is not right for us to be living together prior to marriage so we are going to make the situation right! We are asking for your prayers as we do his will and show our obedience to him.

Lord please provide me a job. Please surround me with Godly people and allow me to serve you while I work.

Please provide Steve a room in a near by home, while we are being obedient to you.  We also pray for a job for Steve.

We pray these prayers in Jesus name.

The "all these things" Jesus speaks of in the context of Matthew six includes food, clothing and shelter. God will provide all our needs (not wants) when we are obedient to him.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts,

13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

I am going to intentionally focus on my true calling and purpose.  I have a short amount of time to leave a legacy of goodness and kindness.  I am here to help enlighten, encourage and motivate others to reach their Full Potential with God's help.  No matter where you are or what you have been through today is the first day of the rest of your life.  We are spiritual beings in human bodies and we are here for a short amount of time.  We are a part of something much larger than ourselves, we are one and we are connected.  Seek the Face of God and imitate him.  Show his kindness, show his love, show his mercy and radiate with Goodness his Godliness. 

God is love; we are love, so therefore we are to be love to the world.  We are instruments of his Peace.  Let’s strike up the band and make some beautiful music.  I will not leave this place until I sing the song God has put into my heart to sing.

All of you hurting and battered souls, God is calling you home.  He is ready to take that hurt away and replace it with his joy.  This world is not your home, heaven is.  We are here for so little time, let’s make the time we have count.  Let’s leave this place better than when we arrived.  Show kindness where there is cruelty. Show love where there is hate.  Show forgiveness where there is bitterness.  Show compassion where there is sadness.  Let us all be instruments of his Peace.

Praise God for his goodness, let us radiate his love. Let us who are called to a higher place rise above what defines this world and set an example that can be looked up to.  We have the power of The Spirit within us to guide us.  May the path be made clear that we should take.  Lord use me how you wish.  I am yours and here to serve you and serve others. 

My joy comes from knowing you Lord, loving you Lord and being like you Lord.  I am nothing without you, I am everything with you.  Take me by the hand and lead me where you need me most.  Where do you need me Lord?  Show me the way and I will follow.  I will do as you ask, when you ask. Use me for your great purpose.  Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice.  Thank you for doing what no one else would ever do.  Your love for me is unconditional and that is what I have for you.  I praise your holy name and am grateful for the journey I am on.  I look forward to serving you and serving others for the honor and glory of God, My Wonderful Father in Heaven.

I know deep within my soul that God is calling me to a higher place.  I know that I have not gone through all I have gone through in vain.  There is a reason and a purpose I have endured and continue to.  I now know that God held me in the palm of his hand when I didn't even know he was.  He protected me and guided me when I was lost and felt alone.  He has a purpose for my life and my story is meant to touch souls. 

Every opportunity I am given to share my story I do.  It brings hope, comfort, tears, joy and laughter.  My willingness to open my soul to others allows them to open theirs as well.  I was told the other day by a life time friend (Martin), I have a beautiful soul.  The beauty of that soul can not been seen or heard unless it is open and shared.  I am grateful for every opportunity I am given to open up and blossom.  It not only helps those I am around but helps me too.  I look forward to more opportunities to speak and share the Love God put into my heart.
