The Power of God

Ponder these questions.

• Do you believe God can do anything and he is powerful?
• Do you believe that God created you?
• Do you believe that God is in you and works through you?

If you answered yes to these questions then it would only make sense to assume that because God is in you his power and his ability to do anything can work through you; which means, you are powerful and strong!  God can do great and mighty things through you if you will allow him to.  If you will focus on the possibilities versus limiting what is possible. We as human beings tend to get bogged down with what we can’t do.  We focus on what is wrong, what is not working, what is not possible. What is working against us?  The bible says, “If God be for us, who can be against us”! 

Are you, for you?

Do you believe in you?

Do you believe that you are an unstoppable spiritual being with the might and power to do great things because God resides in you? 

This is the Truth.  We are not human beings, we are spiritual beings having human experiences. We are here for a purpose and a specific reason and we have an allotted amount of time to accomplish what God has in store for us. 

You believed God created you.  Do you not understand that before he created you he had a specific purpose for creating you?  We are here on a mission for God.  We came here with nothing and will leave with nothing except what we give away of ourselves, which came from God because he created everything for his Good! 

It doesn’t matter where you have been.  It doesn’t matter what has happened to you.  It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you have made in the past.  Today is the 1rst day of the rest of your life.  Right now is what counts!

What are you going to do with this precious time that has been given to you as a gift? 

Your body will one day be gone.  It will be put below the earth or burned if you are cremated.  It is nothing but dust that God blew his breath in to form your body.  It will go back to being dust.  What lives on forever is your spirit, your soul! You give a piece of God away every time you show kindness, love, and compassion to others. God is Good, so therefore give goodness away and you will be giving God away. 

I wasted many years living in fear.  I lived with depression.  I was a miserable human being until my soul became alive.  I was dead.  I was a walking zombie who put on a mask and pretended to be someone I wasn’t and pretended to have something I didn’t.  The plastic smile I put on so others could not see the pain hiding behind it.  No one really wants to know how miserable you are, do they?  Who wants to be around someone who is down, negative and has no joy?  What a drain someone like that is!  A negative energy emits from them that can be felt a mile away. 

How did I ever get like that?  What happened to make me so down and out? Misery had a grip on my soul and wouldn’t let go!  I shut down, shut myself away and become a prisoner in the darkness. There was no joy.  There was no peace.  The only joy I ever felt was when my daughter was around me because she emitted the peace and joy of The Lord.  She was a beautiful gift that he gave me! 

She was my savior he sent me from totaling self destructing.  Because of her love, I was not completely lost.  She gave me the hope I needed to hang on.  She gave me a purpose for living.  I look back now and know and believe in my heart that she was the one gift God gave to me that he knew I needed to make it through the rough times. Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful and precious gift!  What a true blessing Heather was and still is in my life.  Her joy, her unspeakable joy and bright light that always shined was the light house of The Lord in my life.  The gift you gave to me because you loved me so and you knew I would make it through!  Praise The Lord for the miracle, for The Life you sent me to keep me going and growing.  You are so good and you are so kind, I am not worthy of such goodness but I so grateful for this gift.
